About Peter:
Peter is an established / professionally published writer and author. Schooled and trained in the art of writing through various writing courses at Roosevelt University in Schaumburg, IL during his journey to a bachelors degree in psychology, he further honed his prose skills by receiving two writing diplomas from the Long Ridge School of Writing (Breaking Into Print & Shaping your novel.
Often told he has a "unique voice", one of Peter's specialties is bringing the human element into every piece he writes from sports to mafia fiction. Talented, published writer and author Elyse Draper who has read just about all of Peter's work had this to say. "Peter has a genuine talent for creating real characters; not only characters that smack of reality....but ones, people develop and attachment to. Characters that remind readers of family (no matter the nationality), friends (past and present), and people who have made an impression but then were gone (fleeting glimpses of a smile when one was needed, or a desired tear when one was just out of reach). His talents are remarkable. It is only a matter of time before his work is on the New York Times BSL.
Peter completed his first fiction novel, an historical mafia-crime fiction drama set in the early 1930's now called "The Four Corners: A Sicilian Story", in January of 2011. He is current seeking literary agent representation, well entrenched in the querying process.
Peter's short story of the same genre and time period called Lucky Says Hello, has been picked up for publication by MuseItUP Publishing. The expected availability date is October 2012. It will be available in all e-book formats. Stay tuned for more details.
For the past year Peter has been writing regularly for a new sports magazine called Sports Life. He has authored almost twenty feature stories, most of the interview based, co-written three others and edited a dozen more. To find digital issues of this magazine please go to www.sportslifemagazine.com, or contact Peter directly. He will be more than happy to send you copies.

A message from Peter: "Writing is my freedom, my safe haven, my artistic expression and a direct reflection of who I am. It is my goal to leave a piece of me in every article and story I write. So, if you read between the lines of any of my pieces, you will find me! With that said, let there be no question, I am and forever will be a student of writing; ever learning, ever evolving and hopefully ever improving. I know what I know, want to know more, and will share with anyone who asks. But rest assured, I do not have all the answers. Any writer, no matter how successful, who thinks they do have all the answers is not only kidding themselves they are misleading their audience. During my journey I have realized a few key elements to getting paid for writing, and I am not talking about self-publishing. I am talking about some outside source paying you for your work, whether it be for a web site, blog, print magazine, web magazine, e-book publisher, a fiction novel publisher or nonfiction publisher. 1) Quality of Writing: This is the know-all, be all of writing. If you cannot write well, you will never get published. It is that simple. And just because you think you write well, it does not necessarily mean you write well enough for a publisher. 2) Integrity: A poor, unprofessional reputation can destroy a career before it even gets started, so be careful what you say (or write), how you say it and how you carry yourself. Remain above board at all costs. Always be respectful and treat others the way you want to be treated no matter how upset you are. 3) Network: In this day and age, networking (in a professional manner) is a must. It is those key connections that will get you where you want to go. You never know who you are going to meet and who will become a fan of yours. All it takes is that one special connection / friend / fan and you are off and running. So, good luck and happy writing!"
